Racism in the United States is extremely apparent, which is disturbing. Whats even more disturbing is black men and women often times fall into racial habits. This situation clearly shows the white neighbor was in the wrong, but still she wanted him to talk in the backyard, when talking on the phone should be allowed anywhere. As a black women I acknowledge that I justify racist behavior when in reality I should stand up for what's right and not conform into what a white society thinks I should be.
